Invitation to Tender

The following services are required for working on a fifteen month project to enable torc2 to implement a new project for the introduction of 3D printing machines, in connection with the production of torc2 medical devices

 

Project  Management Services

We are seeking an individual with expertise in project management to organise the new torc2 3D Printer project

Services Based in Coventry, West Midlands

Self Employed Basis –  Up to 30 hours per week for a minimum of 52 weeks

Fee in the region of £30 -40 per hour – negotiable

 

Duties & Responsibilities

 

Duties include:

  • Co-ordinating internal and external resources to ensure the Project is delivered on-time and within budget guidelines.
  • Develop project plan and analytical tools to monitor progress and continuity to timescales.
  • Manage changes and challenges encountered during the project.
  • Report regularly to Corporate Management.
  • Maintain comprehensive Project documentation files
  • Maintain and foster team spirit and good relations with all third party members

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Control and team Motivation regarding all aspects of project activity.
  • Monitor and Report Project’s adherence to planned timescales.
  • Control costs within budget guidelines.
  • Highlight challenges , risks and resolutions.

 

Requirements

  • Good educational standard with a technical background in engineering or scientific studies
  • Knowledge of the orthotic devices market, and the route to NHS procurement via the clinical trials process.
  • Computer literate in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Project Management experience.

Technical Managment Services 

We are seeking a highly skilled, professional with technical expertise  to overseas the production of torc3 3 D printer

Qualified polymer chemist/technologist with compounding experience and good knowledge of testing procedures for evaluation of mechanical properties

Services Based in Coventry, West Midlands

Self Employed Basis – Up to 30 hours per week for a minimum of 52 weeks

Fee in the region of £25 -35 per hour  – negotiable

 

Duties and Responsibilities

 

Duties include:

  • Co-ordinating internal and external resources to ensure the Project is delivered on-time and within budget guidelines.
  • Develop project plan and analytical tools to monitor progress and continuity to timescales.
  • Manage changes and challenges encountered during the project.
  • Report regularly to Corporate Management.

  • Control of work schedules and team Motivation regarding all aspects of project activity.
  • Project’s adherence to planned timescales.
  • Projects adherence to budget guidelines.
  • Highlight challenges, risks and resolutions.
  • Compliance with Factories Acts.
  • Traceability documentation.
  • Quality Control on build and process materials.
  • Training and education of team members where necessary.
  • Regular reports to Project manager.
  • Liaison with suppliers on delivery dates and Certificates of conformity.
  • End product testing and CE Marking.

 

Requirements:

  • Educated to degree level in a relevant discipline.
  • Computer literate.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Experienced in ERDF project compliance.
  • Experience of polymeric materials and processing technology.
  • Good knowledge of Additive Layer Manufacturing techniques.
  • Good working relationships within key University of Warwick departments.

Marketing/ Financial/ Administration  

We are looking for an experienced Marketing, Financial and Administration person to oversee  the organisation of new torc2 3D Printer project

Position can be home based but certain time needs to be spend in the business premises in Coventry, West Midlands

Self Employed Basis – 15 – 20 hours per week for a minimum of 52 weeks

Fees in the region of £30 -40 per hour – negotiable Duties and Responsibilities

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Fully competent in all aspects of company administration including legal compliance
  • Financial management and accounting procedures
  • Experienced in website creation, media presentation, marketing and sales within the health sector.
  • Explore avenues to Market for the torc2 medical devices

 

Requirements 

  • Superior Written and Verbal Communication Skills
  • Financial Management minimum at Management Accountant Level
  • Good Computer Literacy, Microsoft Office, Database Skills, Business, Accounting, Marketing, Finance, Target Market Analysis, Presentation Skills
  • Ability to produce company website
  • Analyse and create a plan for engaging the target market
  • Analyse the competition to create a plan for engagement
  • Makes product appeal to the target market
  • Demonstrate superior time management skills and ability to meet sales deadlines
